It's all about hobby to me, and I build the stuff I do with a chop saw and a wire feed welder. Not really set up for production of any scale, but it's not super complicated if you have the tools to cut and weld, and a good bench grinder.

I have trips planned the next few weekends, but after they are done, I will empty the box and take it off and take more detailed pics of what I did.

Anyone have a go-to bike mount for the Prinsu? I need to get four bikes up there for Summer vacation.

Mounting these to the Prinsu seems doable, then running a strap through the rear wheel to keep the bike from bouncing around?

What’s the best way to mount this? Should I use carriage bolts or play it safe and drill through the bar and use through bolts?

I definitely wouldn't drill through. Probably better to use a T-Nut like this, unless you don't think these would support your bike. It's what I use, even for my steel townie.

Got it on there. Seems sturdy enough for now. Wouldn’t trust it if I am mobbing it down a bumpy road.

Yeah, carriage bolts. That fork has seen a little bit of everything. Built the bike when I was in high school 16 years ago and just can’t let it go.

    It's dirty.
Anyone have any luck getting hardware designed for Thule's aerobar system to attach to their prinsu rack? I have a pair of Thule Hullaport XTs and the clamps on them are too shallow for the prinsu crossbars. I'd love to not buy another kayak rack if possible.

I got these to use with a Prinsu and then delayed my Prinsu. Maybe can adapt for your use?!

That's a solid idea, unfortunately, I've already sold the old aero bars :anonymous:

These should mount right up to the prinsu. Just not sure if it works to mount your kayak rack on the adapter.

Hello everyone. I have been looking and cannot font my answer. Has anyone mounted a rtt directly to the t slot bars using the t bolts?

I am trying to keep the height down to still fit in my garage

Strength would be a major concern for me. I wouldn't recommend it regardless of trying to keep the height low. It's not worth it

Do you mean strength of the bottom of the tent? Wouldn't it be the same as the Railing that goes underneath? I was thinking that the weight of the tent would be more evenly distributed

What do you imagine the Cabrac being mounted on in this setup?
I’ve seen pics here where someone rigged up Eno slap straps and bent the entire outer assembly.
