Ahhhh Cheap camping trip to one expensive ..... Had my first ticket when I was 18 then my second one at 24... memorial weekend...... I should've been more careful... Good thing everything is slow so i can rack up some dough.

That’s cool how it rolls up! Every had any issues with water getting in? Going out west with bears concerns me too with going soft.

BUT, it wasn’t dog friendly. I now have an ARE Cx (Mx?). It is heavy but I love it WAY more than the softopper and so does my dog. I bought it second hand for around $1k. It was white and that was fine for a couple months until I got my tax returns and used $550 of that to get it painted black.

I would dare to say I see similar MPGs with the softopper vs the ARE. Yes, the ARE is a heavy bastard but the softopper has no aero to it.

What are YOU looking for in a canopy? Is it something you’ll leave on mostly all the time? Or do you want to be able to remove it easily? Are you storing items in it? Have you looked at some of the different bed racks? Tonneau cover?

Topper with victory topper rack, blacked out exterior emblems, star armor side steps, TRD CAI, TRD Pro exhaust, Method MR305 NV 16in Rims, TRD PRO front grill, Meso coin holder, TRD Pro skid plate, Kings 2.5 coilovers with remote resis front and rear, OME HD Dakar’s, ECGS, LT285/75R16 KM3s, Dirt king UCAs, Meso gas cap holder, Meso blacked out interior kit, TRD start/stop red button, AVS low profile window guards, AVS low profile hood protector, Full LED upgrades inside and outside, decked bed storage system. And I’m sure there’s more I’m missing lol
I personally have zero issues with water getting into the bed. Results can vary though between trucks. I moved my softopper rails a little further up than the instructions state to cover that famous gap at the front of bed rails. By doing so, I’ve had no leaks of any kind. Take care.

Looks great! $1k is a steal for that thing. I appreciate your input as well going from a soft topper to a hard topper. Thanks a ton!

Very nice! Were the flip up side windows worth the extra money?

They are about $450/per windoor. I would absolutely buy them again. Every time I open them to get something in the bed, I think about how much I like them.... I've had it for a few years.

They aren't cheap, but way useful.
