haha well "to locals" is an exception, but a brand always has a correct pronunciation.

Like "Nike". It's Nigh-kee, but some fools don't say the ee on the end....they say it like Pike.

Yeah... I drive through Zzyzx every time I go to UT. There's a bike company that even named itself after that place... https://www.corratec.com/company/zzyzx/
BTW... I've been working from home for the past two months so I'm missing that view from the office.

Rode a few miles on the new tallboy the other day. I just sold my 2nd gen tallboy a few weeks ago and the new one had a familiar pedaling feel but much more relaxed on the front end. I demoed the sb130 and the Ripley last fall, enjoyed both and they climbed well but neither had the relaxed cockpit and instant confidence that the tallboy gave me and I think the tallboy would out climb either, especially on tech stuff. Would be nice to ride them back to back.

I do like that purple they use for the tall boy. It’s not in your face purple, it’s a deep color

I just picked up my Stormbringer purple TB4 frame from the shop yesterday. Demoed that bike and the SB130 back to back a few months ago. Was planning to get on the ripley V4 as well but ran outa time.

All three seemed like killer bikes on paper, and the SB and TB did not disappoint. I think either would make exception one bike stables for a lot of folks and I can confirm both brought major fun and capabilities. The TB just fit my style and preferences a little more than the Yeti.
