I’m in the process of cleaning up an MOC I got online (some part #s and colors not jiving) for a CH-46. I’d shop your store for sure.

 

Yeah, that’s definitely a collector’s set... I couldn’t even find a used set and the best price from a US based seller is $474.99 plus shipping for one new in box. And some of the pieces/minifigures in that set are super expensive on their own. You wouldn’t be able to piece one of those together for less than than you could find the entire set.

If you’re seeing them in the $200-$300 range on eBay, that might be the cheapest you’ll find. You just have to trust the seller that the pieces aren’t beat up or discolored.

I don’t have nearly the amount of pieces some of those stores do. I get the majority of my inventory from Star Wars sets I buy for specific minifigures/pieces or that I end up taking apart to modify. I’ve got a bunch more pieces I need to add but just haven’t had the time lately...

Oh nooo. Would it be possible to get the pieces to build the castle? I mean not having the mini figures is ok lol.

 

Found some tattered replacement sails on ebay for Barracuda Bay. I really think they add a lot to the build, much better than the rolled up stock sails.

Also cleaned up and converted part of my basement into a Lego room. Now my kitchen table can actually be used as intended! There will eventually be more shelves and storage drawers underneath and in front of the tables, but this is a start.

 

Right now it's just listed as "temporarily out of stock" on its product page, along with many other sets on the site. That typically means it's still in production, they just don't have enough to fulfill orders at the moment. If they're ending production, it typically changes to "out of stick", "sold out", or "retired".

Lego has been inundated with orders during the shutdown. Even though its been out for four years and could potentially be retired any time now, this makes me think it'll come back as they're manufacturing catches up.

4404 Land Busters from 2003

 

Modified a "LEGO City Monster Truck 60180" kit from dollar general with some pieces from the kids old Lego box... Still need 2 more blue fenders to get rid of ALL the orange

Lengthened the frame/bed, built bumpers, replaced most of the orange with blue to match, swapped orange wheels for gray. Not super technical but it turned out good

 

My girlfriend got me for this for my birthday. Have to say best girlfriend ever.

 

Wish I had picked up Major Vonreg's TIE for $50 when I saw it at Walmart a month ago. Now it's hard to find, and impossible to find for that price.

 

Bricklink has one for $48.25 plus shipping. New incomplete, no mini figures or weapons. They also have new sealed sets for $60-$67 from North American based sellers. If you just want the TIE and can live without the minifigures for now, you can get it for about the same price you saw it for.

I can also pick one up at my local Walmart for $56 + tax if you want me to.

 

Just responded to your PM (very kind), but I looked on Brickseek and did find one just outside my selected stores zip code. Once I changed that I can order one for pickup for that $56 price if I want.

I think I might pull the trigger.

 

Finished the stormtrooper helmet. Really cool build and love how heavy it is

Recently picked up this Creator helicopter, and it is a really great set. Not really interested in the other two builds, but the helicopter is well designed and a solid build. It has a belly winch, sliding side door, and a gear at the end of the tail which spins both rotors.

The set is currently $48 on Amazon, down from $60. This is about how it feels it should have originally been priced, not sure I would have enjoyed it as much for full retail.
