TACO GARAGE - TRD Pro grilles (and garnishes)

When will the next batch be available?
Sold out on the site (which is good for you, bad for me).

 

Ordered a grille from them 2 days ago, haven't seen a tracking number, the site didn't say they were sold out ... texted the number listed on the site to text or call, the day after I placed the order to make sure it wasn't sold out, got no response, then called today and it goes straight to voicemail..... doesn't seem like a very professional outfit here regardless of the size of their operation... considering filing a claim on my CC.

 

I bought mine on the 22nd, so 7 days ago and I have heard nothing yet. Maybe they’re just busy fulfilling orders? Idk but I will give them till next week and then I will get my money back and buy elsewhere.

 

It's very unprofessional to not answer phone calls or emails. I'm half tempted to do it just out of spite.

 

I placed my order last week, Wednesday I think, and got a confirmation email right away. Then I got a shipping notification shortly afterwards.

 

I have not had any negative issues as of yet so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. However, this is my first purchase with TacoGarage. I should receive my grille on Monday according to the tracking number.

 

Same. I ordered mine on the 22nd and it still just says "confirmed". Order 5352.

 

Yeah some of you guys need to chill out a bit. I have ordered 3 things at different times from AJ and Taco Garage and all 3 of them, including a pro grill set up for my daughters 18 TRDOR DCSB showed up as indicated.

They are only shipping 1 day a week because of the plandemic, they also go over each and every grill before they ship them to make sure nothing is amiss to avoid returns, which I appreciate.
AJ and his cousin who I think helps him out a lot have always been spot on with returning emails and answering the phone in my case.

Nothing but good things to say about Taco Garage.

 

That's great, I'm sure they're great folks, and I'm not worried about a delay in shipping ... my main gripe is the inability to get in touch with them.

 

I understand...just trying to share with you my personal experience with them. Here is a pic of my daughters truck. We installed this yesterday. Ordered on 5/15, shipped on 5/22, received on 5/27, installed on 5/28.

 

Mine came in today. When I placed my order I sent an email mentioning that I forgot to use the promo code for 10% off, next day was refunded the 14.95.

 

He ships Friday’s only.

 

Ordered a grill on 5/22, texted the number that confirmed my order and emailed customer service. No tracking number and no response from Taco Garage.

 

That’s been my experience so far as well.

yesterday was Friday and I ordered at the start of the week, if he only ships on Friday, He didn’t ship it out this Friday. Big oof

 

Oh shit that’s right well I guess I’ll wait a third Friday for him to ship. Oof

 

Out for delivery this morning. Should get it later on today and if so I'll install it and post some pics.

 

Mine delivered today, has one broken tab but I’ll use it anyway as long as it tight. I didn’t see screw holes though so we don’t use the screws?

 

Screw holes for the letters or for the grille itself? I think it's supposed to have screws for the letters if that's what you're referencing. Sucks you have a broken tab. I'd send it back.

 

Nope, no screws needed. Just make sure you get all the tabs pushed in all the way till they snap in tight. Remember, this is an aftermarket/clone, but my experience with the one we installed on my daughters 18, was that it fit perfectly. I spent about 10 minutes just trimming off some very small moulding flash and little scraggly plastic left overs from the moulding process using a razor knife.

The only other "massaging" I had to do was on the raptor lights. A couple of them needed to be filed slightly on the edges to allow them to fit without forcing them into the grill openings where we decided to put them.

Other than that, it was a really nice fit and looks amazing.
