Hey @TacoBuffet what do you think if this grille. 3D printing used to place plastic inserts in place of the lights in an attempt to black them out. It’s either this grille or the pro w cement wording.

Not a fan looks like an O’reilly auto parts special. I’d just go with the pro grille and cement letter overlays.

@TacoBuffet appreciate everyone’s help and input.
Tonight I was able to get my hands on a set of Matte Black Ray10s 16x8.

I wanted badly to like the dark bronze but for me personally they do not go w the cement tacoma. For me the simple answer was the correct one, black wheels on the cement, the color of the truck stands out alone and the wheel compliment it I think. I went w the ray10s because I like the “bullet holes” and they look worth the money, to me the F5s can almost go unnoticed and if I’m spending cash like this I need to personally feel that they pop some and the rays do to my eyes.

I went w the 16s because I have no intention on lifting the truck nor do I need bigger brakes. With that said I plan on putting on 265/75/16 cooper AT3s and I felt w that size tire the 16s would look best. If I were going w a tire 32+ and raising the truck id consider the 17s, but wo doing that I think 16s are the best looking wheel for it. The bigger tires will get me a lil height. Thanks again

@TacoBuffet question for you...leveling kits??? Any disadvantage on performance or concerns?

I don’t want to spend the money to lift the truck as I don’t want to mess w the trucks performance at all or risk having to modify stuff. Also the cost is not worth it to me. Leveling kit may get me an inch? Which I’m fine w for the cost and what appears would cause no risk to the trucks performance or parts?? Thanks

Ya at that angle you wont put that much if any stress on CV shaft, drivetrain etc. I would go with 5100s.

    @shaynekyb not
    Sure but they look similar
To those F5s. Between the two i like the F5s better, just ordered the Ray 10s last week myself.

Nope, they are works wheels, $460 a piece, $120 a center cap, so ya a bit pricey. Work Wheels S1HC.

Too rich for my blood, they aren't wheels that are just in stock all the time like methods or SCS, they are JWL wheels, -10 offset, and yes 17 x 8.5, you'll have to reach out to a vendor to see if they have a set in stock. Maybe try @ShowstoppersUSA, I myself would have a hard time justifying and running $2000 wheels on an off road truck/SUV, but they are pretty sweet, same with Volks.

I think the ray 10’s look cooler but the f5s are lighter so they would give u slightly better performance

@TacoBuffet ok I took a hard turn since we last spoke lol. mods update:

    -mud flaps off
-Front windows tinted to match the back
    -Black overlays for badges
-Paint protection film for trucks entire front end and rocket panels
-changed the push button to start “tacoma” from the tacogarage
-tacoma glove box compartment cement overlay

    enroute to me now

-Meso customs side view mirror blacked out turn signals.
    -TRD All black Pro Grill
-Cali raised Rock slider Steps w Bedliner filler plates
-Fox front coilovers and rear shocks (doing just over a 2in lift w differential drop kit)
-lastly my favorite mod to date Volk Rays TE37XT 17’ matte Black wheels.

should have everything on before late July. Lastly I just need to settle on tires. Cus of the Light Ray wheels May go all out and do the cmc and put on 33s. They look the best on the 3rd gens imho. I like the Yokohama’s geolanders. Or just yokos in general. Need to figure that out now. Super synced for it! Thanks for all the input up to this point. I was gonna do the Bilsteins 5100 like you said but the Fox seems superior esp for on road driving quality w the IFP performance set I got. It’s my dream truck, I’ve worked hard for it so I’m getting exactly what I want. Not cutting corners on myself. I’ll get pics up after I get it together

Dude you took a really hard turn, had I known you're budget could stretch for a Fox setup and Volks I would have suggested those but they are on the far opposite end of someone doing 5100's and SCS, lol. Nice choices. I'd skip the diff drop, you don't really need it.

@TacoBuffet yeaaa lol I’m always practical when it comes to my own purchases. I can swing wo it hurting me at all but usually I just don’t hook myself up like that. Said screw it, I deserve the ride I want. Ok cool I’ll talk to the shop about it. Krazy house customs
    In NJ came pretty highly
Recommended, they we’re gonna toss one in at no major cost to me so
I thought why not. I want the angles right? Leaving the factory UCAs cus I’m only setting it to 2inches up front. No rear block or AAL. I don’t tow or haul anything. If I need to haul it’s infrequent
