I’d ask Sergio. I don’t think it’s that big an issue though. If I buy his short shots I’ll probably do them myself as well. He said it’s pretty easy. Did you get a tuner as well?

Not yet dude... I’m torn now that TwoBrothers said no tuner was needed for their exhaust...

Might just slap the exhaust on, and get stage 1 later ?

I just keep seeing that the 02 sensors are thrown when you unplug them and replug them back in... and Idk how to clear the code.

If I had gotten full pipes I would have gotten a tuner to go with the purchase. Might as well just do it all at once. I feel like with a change that big it’s probably better to have it. But I don’t know enough to provide an good answer for you

That’s a 2+ day turnaround at my local shop. Not like your typical Pepboys type deal.

I installed my own exhaust (short shots). You’ll probably have some deceleration pop until you get a proper tune but it’s nothing too terrible. I installed my exhaust before doing the intake and tune (fuel pack) and had decel pop usually from 2-3-N. The install itself isn’t hard if you have tools and google.

You can disconnect the batter before you do the work and that’s supposed to mitigate the codes. I honestly don’t remember if I disconnected mine but the fuel pack can read and clear codes so I usually don’t worry about it.

Yeah, from Vance n Hines. Ha blue tooth and the phone app adds extra gauges if you care about other vitals. Lots of features that I barely scratched the surface of. Good unit but the only thing annoying is that they “marry” to one bike. Once you pair it, it has to stay with that bike and won’t work with any other bike. Seems like a waste to me.

Depends on how handy you are but a stage 1 isn’t hard to do on your own. Similar to installing shit on our trucks- there’s a sense of pride in doing things yourself.

I only say that because dealer labor costs are outrageous for all vehicles.

    You already get the exhaust?

Yea i know.. most of my shit on my Tacoma I did all myself... from MESO puddle pods to lights, to a horrible cutting experience to stuff my 295’s.

However since my Harley is now my daily... im afraid to do it myself ... because I void all warranty. LAHD, said they’ll warranty it all If I go through them.

Exhaust will be here in 2 weeks hopefully
