Make a 90° cut in a board, flip the right side of the cut piece front to back (edge that was at the fence now faces you) and mate the cut. Make adjustments in the miter until they pair perfectly, which may not line up with an indent. Then adjust your gauge to read 0/90.

You should not have much deflection on a chopper on a thin board. But then again these aren't ever really precision tools with the exception of the Kapex.

Very nice... only joking about the lack of books currently on it. Probably like us with several boxes of books with nowhere to put them.

I have a miter saw that I know is just off.... 1 and a half degrees to the right is square. Not a huge deal to me lol.

lol Thats why I put that... because if you had, we would all be jealous of it!

Of course my current miter (Ridgid) out performs my skill set as it is. :pout:

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Loosen the fence, tighten it back down, then reset to 90°

It'll happen one day, but I'm going to knock a few other things off my list first, and this Rotex 90 kicked it off.

Cool, didn't know you could reset the indents on that one.
