Got in it after work to the wonderful battery light on the dash, guess its time for an alternator.

I'm wondering if installing the fog lights had something to do with it

Ok was able to test out the first prototype brackets today, they work great! The material will be fine, but I’ll update in a week. I should have 10 sets of the universal mount next week sometime if anyone wants a pair. Just hit me up.

I will get a night shot later tonight, but light distribution should be much better with the lights pointing down.

Love it. How difficult are you finding it to be? How much Vinyl did you have to order for the truck as a whole? I am really wanting to take this on but have never used vinyl and thus am nervous.

Awesome! Thanks man. Especially about the "going to simply push the drain back into the cab" bit......that would have SUCKED, so I'll make sure not to do that lol.

Yeah I'm seriously thinking of keeping it off. Only thing is that I drive on the highway every day. Any issues with that if bar is off? I mean, I'm not a maniac on the highway just a bit concerned about the safety aspect.

None what so ever. I also drive the highway everyday. I watch my speed and make sure I slow down and follow the speed limit on the offramp. Other than that, soooo....much better without it.

You have children in the truck? I have this debate in the basement of my brain on a regular basis.
