Do not have an exact date, but Rafael is working on finishing up creation of all files for all ECU versions, we are up to 2019s now, so not far off.

@OVTune, if you don't mind me asking, what was the issue the final release? The startup issue?

@OVTune Don’t let this come off as impatience because thats not where this comes from. Being that there were a couple of recent weekends in a row where you made it sound like 2.0 would be released for all ECUs, I’m sure its more than just me being curious if the delay is something serious.

Can you provide more details on whats changed since you last expected to release 2.0? Anything you can fill us in on in relation to the delay? Are there more symtpoms we can test with you or help with?

Again, I hope this doesn’t come off as impatient - I’m just looking for transparency as long as it doesn’t take you away from dev time too much. I’m sure I speak for more than myself here when I say that the radio silence on a confident release’s delay 2x weekends in a row is what raises the most anxiety/concerns/questions with this group.

    Thanks again!!

You must be new here.. as someone who bought in back in 2017, I can tell you this is par for the course, has happened many times, and nothing to be concerned over..

It’ll get here when it’s gets here.

It’s all relative - me not being on the thread for years doesn’t change the validity of the question. I feel like I’m definitely on the reasonable side of the spectrum on this. Moreso curious than anything.

These responses from the group probably make it harder for Mat to sift through the valid questions - if he said “this weekend” twice and its been pushed, it’s fairly reasonable for us to lightly check in and ask for some insight. Not being pushy or impatient about it, just looking for info from the source to alleviate my mind from wandering.

what the impatient people dont get is... he has never said that the final (for auto trans) would be released to all, on this weekend, or that weekend. NEVER. there are some that read a comment, then let their lack of reading comprehension ad-lib a date/days, and they, and others grabbed on to this fallacy, and wont let it go. it will come, just wait. Or Mat could respond to him and say, “Yep, had to get the start-up straightened out, the idle smoothed out on a few and etc., etc.,” All Ablegonz was asking is what was fixed. Like if you hire a plumber. Some people actually want to know what was clogged and how’d they fix it. Others don’t care.

and the more he responds, the less time he is working on the final. double edged sword. do you want answers, or results? Ski

I agree, I don’t think I’ve read any Post from OVtune saying 2.0 was going to come out on a specific weekend. I’d think he’s still working on Fixing the startup Issue as a test tune with a fix hasn’t been released yet. Unless I missed something with how quickly this thread moves.

then you’ve missed two posts where he said “we’ll be sending out all ECUs this weekend” - all good, again this isn’t about the timeline being delayed. It’s about me wondering why it’s been delayed and hoping there’s just a bit more patch notes + communication.

I just went back through every one of his posts to the beginning of May and I don't see that stated and don't recall reading that. I update myself on this thread pretty much daily. maybe you're thinking of something in the vFtuner thread?
