I was wondering if someone could help me in trying to figure out why the lights on my “Raptor Style Mesh Grille 2005-2011” wont work, I bought it from the Toyota accessories guy.I also bought the fuse tap and fuses, I just can’t get it to work, I’ve looked endlessly on YouTube but couldn’t find anything for the 2nd gen, if anyone could help I’d appreciate it

Perhaps check the bulbs? Sounds like basic voltmeter checks will get you the solution you’re after.

Take some photos and explain how you wired it. We can’t help you if you don’t give us some details.

When I go to flick on my headlights, before I’m fully through the clicks the light flashes, but after that nothing happens, and yes I’ve stopped at my low beams and my high beams and nothing happens

Depending on the fuse you went to, the light might not come on until you release the parking brake.

Looks like you have them tapped off the Right Head Light HI.
So you should have power to the raptor lights only when the hi beams are on the way they are wired now.

I don't from memory, but i bet one could look in their owners manual or even a look at on the fuse panel might tell you. I feel like you're very close, OP!

Wire the fuse tap to the fuse panel inside the truck by the steering wheel. This will make them turn on anytime the truck is on.

I originally wired mine to the fuse OP has shown, then moved it to the interior fuse panel like @Matmo215 suggested. Pretty simple, and you don't have to have a hole/wire running into your exterior fuse box

I'm trying to the same thing, which fuse did you tap into that's next to the steering wheel?

I just wired mine up in the fuse box under the hood, I couldn’t figure out where to wire it in the cab @BeachTaco88

@Kalani.21 which fuse did you tap into under the hood. I'd rather just tap into the drls but there's 3 wires. I'm not sure which one is constant power. I'd rather not tap into the parking lights.

I tapped the IG1 fuse by the steering wheel, lights are on any time the truck is running. Just used an add-a-fuse, its a 10amp I believe

I tried to tap the DRL's first, and the lights would only come on when the light switch was in position 2, where the taillights were also illuminated.

@Mason27 where was the DRL fuse located, I couldn’t find it?
