Buy @mightytacoman coolant tank. Itll help keep the temps normal cause it will keep all the coolant in the system instead of letting it leak all over the engine bay. Coolant in the loop does more cooling than coolant splattered on the outside of the SC. Crazy right!?

nice improvement! Although it’s not as hot here it’s now Added to the must do list.

 

Pretty sure I still have Gatorback and a RPM in the factory length. I went shorter to go to the green belt with the 2.85 pulley. Thinking I better order the Roush tensioner or go back to the longer belt before I have problems though. Although, my tensioner is not one of the new flimsy ones, it is 7 years old. That might be a better reason to upgrade.

 

So im preeety sure my supercharger needs rebuilt. Im not super happy with how its sounding.

 

Box of rocks? that would need a new coupler at a minimum.

I just did the coupler. It also had a little bit of play in the nose drive

 

3.0 pulley even I’m more boosted than that

 

I have a brand new 2.8 I haven't installed yet. I'm in North Bay but shipping is probably cheaper than gas. PM me if still needed.

I definitely have to rectify this fueling issue that I have had for quite a while apparently.

 

could injectors be a factor?

 

I was curious of the same thing, but injectors are usually just a dummy and will dump in what the PCM commands them to.and since it's not an issue of 100% fuel, rather an issue of making it down past a commanded ratio I don't think it could be them.

@JustDSM thoughts?

Dude you are my savior on parts like 87.6% of the time. Thank you in advance! I'll keep you updated on what's going on. The temp 2.8 pulley goes on today during my lunch as does the base neutered TRD tune.

There have been reports from our Aussi neighbors of some incredibly strange injector issues. Effectively it comes down to a resistance change within them and the behave poorly. May be the case. Yours are somewhat aged. Maybe time for an upgrade?
