I’ve been a member for a while here, but had a Nissan Frontier. Yesterday I finally traded it in for a 2017 GX 460. I plan on doing a OME or Dobinsons lift, TRD PRO 17” wheels and 33s.

    Welcome! I too have a 2017 GX460, with similar plans...wheels/tires (sticking w/ 18s and probably a P275/65R18), 1-2" lift to keep KDSS happy and a Prinsu rack.

    edit: same color too

Thanks man. It's the hydraulic sway bar system, if it looks like your sway bar chassis mounts have an expanding rubber boot then you have it.

Supposedly if you lift higher than 2" it'll bind up and cause other issues

I’ll have to crawl underneath and look. But I plan to stick to a 2” lift anyways.

Should be good to go then. I wish there was a GX forum for more centralized info. I've been on probably 4-5 different forums researching builds lol

Exactly. My buddy has a GX 470 and he said there’s a huge group on Facebook(which I don’t have and don’t plan on getting)

It sucks that I bought these Volk te37 reps a week before trading the Nissan haha. Now I gotta sell them.

Negative, they are FN Countersteer Type X

Volks might make it on the GX though, since it won't get wheeled as hard

Yea, definitely a much bigger GX470 fan base than the 460 as well...so that doesn't help matters
