How does this sit in the dash cause that alpine unit sticks out horribly imho

 

It's not bad, not near as bad as the alpine. That was one of my concerns when I bought it, but it really doesn't stick out far at all.

 

Solid deal , especially with everything included, I have the same unit as well.... someone needs to take this ASAP

 

I have a Pioneer installed and really like it, Apple CarPlay works great.
