Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Our country is bleeding. I feel depressed, saddened, and bleak right now. I have white friends who feel terrible that they’re white. I have black friends feeling terrible and scared that they’re black. This all needs to end.

I hope the protests become peaceful, businesses stop getting looted, and the United States begins recovering and moving forward in UNITY. We need to all understand that we need to stand together with one another to fight injustice, anywhere. From each other, from police, from the government, and whoever else who challenges our freedoms as AMERICANS and as HUMANS.

Dividing ourselves just makes us easier targets for political and mainstream media influence. It weakens our ability to make changes for our future. Love one another. Watch out for anyone facing injustice or being mistreated for simply existing as they are.

Let’s put this idea into play here on TacomaWorld. People are upset. Some on both sides. Both are correct in certain aspects, that’s for sure. But let’s try to be a forum that moves forward in positivity for the sake of anyone out there suffering for simply being alive and looking any certain way. Let’s not make the mods here have to remove people and silence our posts due to negativity, name calling, or flat out anger.

2. Try having no police officers around and see how you like that wild wild west.
3. Not all cops are bad. Yes, there are bad apples, but good outweigh bad.

 

We're also pretty lucky to live where we do. The place is a melting pot and most PD's are at least representative of the communities they serve. Not always but most of the time.

I'm also concerned that all too often, we want someone to blame for our own shitty decisions. Too often, it's the police. Some times, as we've seen, it is the officer-but just like most of us, don't hang that shitty decision anywhere but where it belongs.

 

I agree. Also, there are always two sides of the story, victim and defendant. I'm not saying that police officer is innocent, but some one called cops on George because he was allegedly trying to pass fake bills. So, I will let the justice system do its job and find out the facts.

Against my better judgement regarding responding to trolls, I’ll bite in this special case.

I support Law Enforcement 100%. Without law and order, we don’t even have a country. For the past 4 years I have worked by volunteering at the local Police department. I work with the Department on special occasions, like crowd control at parades and other public events. I do ride-alongs. I have been accosted by people that “hate the pigs”. I also work with the Sheriff Department, including recently working the honor parade for my friends son, a Sheriff killed in the line of duty. My mother worked at the Police department, may she rest in peace.

I don’t just provide key board lip service, I use my time and $ to support law enforcement. I ask a simple question to clarify a “black lives matter” post (now deleted?) and I get the “Fuck You”. On one thing we agree, there is ignorance in the air.

 

Could be he just doesn't want to be the next Reginald Denny.
