A big plus since you get the satisfaction of a job well done by you alone and a wallet a little thicker. I built two homes by myself with some help by my wife which took over ten years of nights and weekends. First one was learned by reading a how-to book. The skills you learn and the pride you get are priceless

 

I'm blessed to have known some really good trade Journeyman. They've been helpful, and good teachers. I'm a Draftsman by trade, but I took the drawings to the shop and made the part myself....I think that's the key. Versatility is everything. Oh, and some luck. LOL

I keep looking but can’t find a reasonably priced used black mirror knob off. It’s killing me.

 

I was in the same boat. A new oem one was like $130 . I got a used Sienna master panel with the mirror knob for less that half that on eBay. I got it from a salvage yard , I cleaned it up and it works flawlessly and illuminates blue like the rest of the interior buttons. I ordered a 2015-2019 master panel of that helps.

 

Has anyone gotten the CBI covert front bumper? I was leaning to an SSO front but saw this. I like clean/OEMplus-looking. The bar is an option that I probably wouldn't take

That is a very good looking bumper. I agree, I would drop the bar.

 

FYI, The bar on the bumper is for grille protection in case you never know you might hit the tree when you go off road. But it's up to you to leave the bar out.

 

What is your water source... ? looks sick!

Washed it, then ran to the grocery store and parked by no one and came back out to be surrounded
