If you are gonna upgrade your front suspension to a fox 2.5 coilovers with reservoir. Will you still need that half inch spacer for the taco lean? Thanks in advance.

You can adjust the coilovers themselves to level it out, the spacer isn't needed.

I belive I did two more rotations down on the driverside adjuster.

What if i wanted to achieve the full 3” lift? Would that still leave me room for adjustment for the taco lean?

Do you have to compress the spring to do the adjustment?

On Fox 2.5, it’s 12 rotations per inch, so 3 rotations per quarter inch, the amount of lean. If you have a 4x4, then you should stick to less than 3, or around 2.5 inches

on 2.0 yes, 2.5 are steel bodied so no need to compress spring. You will need the adjustment tool. It’s the 2.5 preload tool, or a good punch

Is 39 inch from the fround to the center of fender really 3” inch lift? So should i shoot for 38 inch from the ground?

I personally used a spring compressor to adjust mine, I have heard of people being able to do it with out compressing them, but I didn't want to attempt it. I am no suspention expert so don't hold me to this, others feel free to correct me, but I believe the 3" is the max you can go before you start to sacrifice droop and you shocks are no longer riding in the middle of their stroke where you want them to be and risk damage. That being said I do belive you would be able to get the correct amount of preload/lift to correct the lean and still achive the full 3" of lift.

most people measure from center of wheel straight up to edge of fender. Do each side independently. The coilovers come with one inch of lift preset in the box.

You have a pro, according to your signature, which is already one inch higher than the other models, so the Fox coilovers will be set to the same height that your truck currently is. If you want one more inch, you’d need 12 rotations, 1/2 inch is 6 rotations, etc...

remember, we say don’t lift these trucks more than 3” over stock, but for you don’t go more than 2” over what you have stock because of the extra inch of lift.

Thanks for this info. I was under the impression my 1 inch lift goes away with the trd fox suspension. And if thats the case i can still go two inches lift on the fox without sacrificing the droop? To achieve 3 inch lift? Thanks

that one inch sort of goes away, the new Fox 2.5s would be the same height out of the box.

basically, you should measure the wheel center to fender before you start doing the work while the truck is on the ground, and don’t go more than 2” over that height. For you, 2” of lift would be the max 3” over stock height that you are looking for.
