And I bet they were still damn good :fistbump:

I’ve been putting a light coat of 50/50 mix - neutral oil (avocado) and soy sauce on mine, then I do salt pepper and garlic powder.

throw them on my pellet grill set at 250F (on the colder side of the grates) and let them go 30-45mins until they hit 126F internal; then I put them on a ripping hot skillet to sear them. Two min per side, should end up near 129F and carryover to 131F. Rest 10min before slicing.

it’s honestly better than doing them sous vide.

This new propane grill I picked up has a sear plate on it, but I did not use it this time. Getting a feel for using gas again first. If I had smoked the steaks I would have done a reverse sear on them. :hungry:

This kills me. My wife always wants her steak -- or any beef -- well done and I'm like WTF, way to ruin some meat.

i grew up eating charred meats....it wasn’t until I was early 20’s that I had a proper steak. Game over since then. My kids will not grow up eating the same shit I did.

We put in at Leeds around 2:30 pm. Cruised around the harbor underneath the Ravanel Bridge. Not too bad.

There were a bunch of cop cars on fire in Columbia yesterday. Someone threw a rock through the side window of an Engine that was fighting car fires. They dropped the hose and left.
