I use the truck to tow.
Actually I noticed the squeaking towing a Porsche home 3 nights ago to determine the Porsche was fucked

 

All you need to do is highift from the hitch to get all the pressure off the leafs than shove grease in there as you pry with your least favorite screwdriver

 

Grease is a bandaid.

 

Bags in the rear are better for towing.

You get a week of silence then the noise comes back with a vengeance as the grease attracts more dirt.
