Thanks, bud!! Trying not to do too much, it spends 99% on paved roads. Trying to get more into overlanding than into off road stuff.

 

was the softopper worth it? I al on the fence about it. I'd be using it mostly to transport the pups and some gear around when surfing/ camping. But it comes out about $940 shipped to San Diego.

 

Would those be functional for hauling the occasional piece of lumber? How do the mount? I have a Leer 100xq and it would be nice to be able to throw some stuff on top sometimes. Not sure if these would be a good option.

 

They’re pretty sturdy, so lumber should be just fine. You’ll need tracks (Yakima or Thule are common) on the camper shell in order to mount the rack.

You can put anything on prinsu racks such as lumber, kayaks, tent, whatever you think of. You can stand on the rack. No problem.

If you plan to put tent on, make sure to get bed stiffeners to help protecting the bed sides.

No bed stiffeners needed if you plan to carry a few lumbers such as 2x4 on the rack.

That looks good. I like it. Want to do the roof rack also. How’s it been with it?

 

I love it. The only problem I've had was my fault. I ordered it for a light bar and haven't installed the bar yet so I got some vibration between 40-55mph. Once I put the light in it should go away.

 

New Katzkins (whoop whoop!) installed & swapped in a set of black lugs to go with the new rims.
