Hey guys (noob here)! Picked up my 2020 DCLB. I just jumped on Bilstein 5100 all around with an icon 1.5 aal. I was planning on using my stock coils so get about a 1.75 or 2 inch lift. But I know that in the future I’m going to want to mount a cbi front bumper (about 90 lbs). Should I still use my stock coils or should I get the ome ones and which ones without having to adjust anything else like uca or anything like that. Now that I am stock, what will still work with the bumper in the near future... Thanks guys!

That's a cool bumper, so good choice! The bumper is 90lbs, that alone wouldn't make me change up springs to something stiffer. However, I'm sure you will (at some point) add a winch, some skids, maybe their light bar, etc. Those things would make me switch springs. So you can stick with stock for now but when you start adding those things, I would also budget in new springs.

Thanks man! What would you recommend if I did install a winch, and a light bar as well?

You could put 5100’s on 5th clip then with the bumper will weigh it down a little bit and we’ll soften up ride. Just a thought. Or change coil to eibach coil and move clip to we’re you like it. Eibach will give 2” of lift. Ome coils are an option also. Some members have seen sagging on those.

I'd leave the 5100's on the bottom clip and go with either the OME 888 or OME 886 coils. The later if you plan on adding a wench.

Hit up @Crikeymike and tell him your goals for lift height and weight. He’ll get you some coils you’ll be happy with. I’ve done this 2x now on my taco and now my 4runner and it’s always gtg. Good luck!
