    Hello Everyone,

I have a 2015 Tacoma TRD Pro A/T that I've owned since 6/2015. Got it with 770 miles and now have 76,000.

Short of the long, I took my truck to the Toyota Dealer where they discovered, front drivers & passenger side damaged (spring, shocks, struts). I was told its gonna cost approx. 2300.00 to replace (parts & labor).

I also keep looking of original parts, but every thing I see states that those parts have been discontinued.

Not sure what to do & I'm open to any and all suggestions.

    Thank you in advance,
    EIO

Just my everyday driver. Nothing more.
And if there cheaper, but quality options, I can/ will go with those as well. They didn’t say anything regarding shackles, but I understand I should ask.
    Thank you

You can replace the front shocks with a set of OEM bolt-on coilovers from Fox, King, Icon and several others for about the same cost.

@Bishop84 OP is talking about the springs on front shocks, not rear leafs

I think it happened some time back when a guy hit my truck on the drivers front wheel area. Repair shop fix what damages there was to the body & new tire & rim, but I don’t think the repair shop really inspected it well enough. IE, future damages

    just guess’n

Possibly, would depend on time frame and what you've signed but for 2,300 its worth the phone call.

Not that long ago you could buy the whole kit, front and back shocks for a little over $550. Thats for the 2015 TRD Pro suspension. There was a big sale.
its an hour a side at a shop for install, takes less but thats approx for labor. You would be better off with some Bilstein 6112 shocks for the front if you are on a budget, $600 on Amazon.
Or you can buy the OEM TRD pro front shocks for $344 each

    Reserected from the dead.
You should have no trouble changing both right and left shocks and springs for less than $600 at an independent auto shop.

You are being shamelessly upsold and being taken advantage of.

There are lots of quality choices for parts to fix your truck.

$2300? No, absolutely no. But 76k is a pretty good life expectancy on your shocks.
Chime in here, these guys will get you sorted out in no time:

I am in the same situation as you @EIOi352, I bought my truck in June of 2015 with only 9 miles on it, came out the other day and found part of the of the coil spring under the truck. It is my daily driver and have very close to 100,000 mile on it. Everything I read and the info I find the TRD Pro suspension is discontinued. I was thing of replacing the suspension anyway. I would just replace it with the factory stuff if I could find it. Here is a picture of the piece of spring. 5CC33462-8323-4F20-822A-2A2E50913AD4.jpg

    Wow that's bad!

As others have started you have better options staying away from the dealer. For that kind of money you could get a nice mid travel set up. Or go with cheaper but still quality after market like billstein or many others.
