There’s protestors and there’s rioters. Protestors blocking traffic with signs isn’t an immediate threat, an angry mob swarming my vehicle and threatening my safety is entirely different and they’re in fact the aggressors. If they want to be in the way of my escape route that’s the choice they made. My choice will be preservation of my own life and safety and that of my children.

Spotted this one yesterday at Oreilly's. Hood was up but driver was nowhere to be found.

Absolutely I would do whatever necessary to protect myself and whoever else is in my vehicle when violent protestors are blocking the roadway and beating people in their cars (which we all know has been happening for the past 6 days).

You started this by quoting Fernando's post supporting police officers. Your post came off as if you were disagreeing with his stance that he supports police officers. You called him ignorant and so on. Then after a series of posts you reveal your background and support of police officers. Now your flipping it as if he doesnt support police or is offended that you do. Seems everyone here supports the police and agrees there are bad apples in every group. In case you missed it, Fernando is a marine who served our country. He also practically quit his job to go to a police officers funeral that died in the line of duty near his work.

So, just take a breath and let this shit go. Obviously it's a misunderstanding and there is no need to continue this bullshit. If you read back your original post and immediately following posts read differently than you intended. Now it appears you're flipping a script on someone who was clearly in support of police officers from the get (and for years back on this thread).
