These are Big Reds though. Not Harbor Freight. Pretty sure Big Red isn’t affected?

Big Red is solid, many people have the HF so jack stands are on notice!

I can definitely feel this! Hahaha. After I finally sorted my last bit of plastic rubbing it was so nice to not hear that annoying sound anymore! Especially because there was a certain spot leaving my work driveway I’d always rub at full lock

Any one know if methods require hub rings?

99% sure they would. They are a universal wheel and therefore oversize the hub to fit lots of models other than Toyota’s. But usually they send the appropriate ring depending on your application I think. You definitely need to ask who you purchase from.

Toyota runs the largest hub bore so wheel manufacturers bore out to Toyota for universal. No need for a hub ring. I had method standards and no hub ring needed. Same now with my KMC Machetes and Allied beadlocks. All other manufacturers Chevy, Ford, etc with the same bolt pattern have tiny hubs so they need spacers

Check out the alignment post in this thread. It’s linked somewhere in the first or second post.

Oh boy! So I just upgraded from 285/70/17 falken at to 315/70/17 falken mts and work wheels....I couldn’t leave the tire shop

as soon as I tried pulling out and turning the wheels a bit I started running smh!

I was naive to think I’d be ok.

so the shop was kind enough to loan me a grinder so i chipped away at the area on the fender next to the cab mount...

not very pretty but good enough to get me on the road until I can get a pro to do it for me.

Edit: I already had a cmc but I’m now rubbing a bit non the cab mount and that’s on pavement, so definitely going to need a more aggressive cmc.

so thats my warning to those looking to upgrade. I can’t wait to get the cuts cleaned up and the more aggressive cmc then it will all be worth it....I hope

Haha went through the same thing. But I only had to make about 3-4 turns to get home to my grinder. Looks great! More :sawzall: is needed I’m sure.

Thanks man, I’m a little bummed about having to do the cuts myself and want to get it all cleaned up, I should be ecstatic but i like you hit trails and I know I can’t until I get my clearance fixed.

So let that be a lesson to those considering it, don’t be stubborn like me. Make sure you get your trimming down prior to getting for the tire shop lol

other than that I’m happy and will be regearing soon (that re gear group buy better stop messing up though)

Yup your wheel and alignment combo will contribute to how much you need to trim. Will be slightly different for everyone.

Also I have wheel spacers. That probably made it worse
