I'd happily toss my bike in the back as you've done... This is the beauty of a truck! (for a quick trip to the trailhead maybe...)

    A measurements question please...

I do not have access to a Tacoma Down under and I've not been around one in a while... the picture above makes the short bed look puny...

I would like to know if my MTB size Large 29"-er will fit in the box if I had a fork mount on the far forward edge of the bed... Does anyone do this?

    - I would be grateful if someone could please provide the measurement of the inside dimension of the bed.

I would not mind just throwing the bike back there - but I often ride with my boys and they each have 24" MTBs ( 2 of them), so I am hoping my bike fits inside on a fork mount... I could then fit theirs on either side. I'be been thinking of adding a cab height topper (leer /snugtop thing) to provide a bit of security... I assume the height of the bikes would not be an issue -is this correct?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks buddy. It was a way to keep busy during the winter months. I’m still working on getting another article in there about racks. It’s coming...
Was also planning on adding another Euro trip (France, Switzerland, Italy), and PNW trip for this year, but the damn ‘Vid had other plans.

Yeah, not too bad as long as you’re patient and methodical. I need to get the Django done, but it’s kinda hard with one hand...

Haha sorry. At 12:30 last night I was ready to be in bed.

I was able to work most out just working the squeegee and tension on the wrap. Now that I have the finished product out in natural light I can see more imperfections/bubbles than I first noticed while applying inside last night.

Most are on the chainstays, which were the most challenging area for me. They may work themselves out over time. If not, I may attempt the needle poke trick. Or I’ll just leave them. Even with a bubble, the wrap will be serving it’s purpose of frame protection.

They are not the lightest all mountain option, but a good compromise of strength, weight and cost. The price is hard to beat and the vault hubs have been bulletproof for coming up on 2 years, the 3° engagement is nice, too. I'm a bit heavier than the avg rider at 210 lbs so I usually prioritize strength over weight. I would buy another set if I was building another bike.

A bit off topic, but does anyone have any recommendations/tips on DIY garage floor sealant?

I hate the color of this S on the bike and haven’t decided what I want to do with it. Can’t take it off so have to cover it up.

what do y’all think about this? It’s our local minor league baseball team The Trash Pandas. Or do I get someone to make me another color S to cover it

It’s your bike my dude. Stikrd can make any decal any color you want though. The process takes a little bit as they design it and send it to you for approval or changes, but it isn’t too bad

I’d say go with the trash panda, it’s definitely unique. If that novelty ever wears off, then try out a custom decal to cover the logo?

Yeah I want to eventually have like my own logo for my YouTube channel if I ever feel like my riding skill is worthy of that kind of front haha. Right now it would be like “this guy has a logo and bikes bet he’s legit oh what why’s he breathing so hard and crashing so much?” Lol.

Ok, it's FINALLY done. Not completely finished, as I need some final image approvals, but it's a 90% finished product.
Now when the inevitable "What racks should I buy?" question rolls in, you won't have to repeat yourself for the millionth time.

Please let me know what you guys think, or if anything needs to be added/improved. Thanks!
