Finally got the the tall and skinnies! 255/85/16 Cooper St Maxx:cool: I think they look super sexy:thumbsup: I measured the actual tread width on both my stock 265/70/16 and the new tire while aired up and the stocks were 8 & 1/8” and the coopers are actually an 1/8th” bigger  despite the coopers that have an overall width that is a lil bit narrower. I think the actual cooper width is 10.1” compared to 10.5” stock (not tread width)
Anyways i think they ride pretty nice! The bumps, sewer caps and cracks in the road are definitely less noticeable but the overall noise is a tad bit more, but hardly noticeable to me. No rub so far and have done a couple little 4wd trails near the house and even got stuck trying to plow through some snow (only temporarily though) From everything I can tell I have plenty of room. Time will tell I suppose:cool:
Oh and my exactly 15 mile trip to work now says it’s a 14.6 mile ride:p so I figure that makes my speedometer 2-3 mph off

I might put my rear mudflaps back on and save some windshields behind me:rofl:

    looks great!

The speedo will be off by a %, the faster you go the more it will be ‘off’ and same for the fuel mileage.

Did a complete exterior detail, seeing how it was dropped off in haste during the Kung Flu after waiting 2 months and I know it wasn't done.
That quicksand is awesome with a coat of nice wax.
Also installed a Dee Zee tailgate mat after trimming. Used a 1/2" wood boring bit carefully to countersink the supplies screws to match the recessed screw placements already in the mat. Looks awesome. Worked great.
Had to trim about 7" in width and 3/4" in height.
The tailgate damper still works decently with the additional mat weight, but a noticable difference.

That’s what I was thinking but was not 100% positive. I’d like to install the rough country or the hyper tech solution for this but they are not available for 2020’s yet:angrygirl:
You would think that with tech these days it would be a simple cpu calculation that should be added stock to a truck that a good percentage of owners get bigger tire or wheels on:notsure: Or you’d think they could even add on to a cpu downloadable update or something similar :angrygirl:
Not the biggest deal in the world , just would prefer my shit to be accurate :D

I feel the same way. I have the hyper tech on my ‘17, it works even though at the time was not CARB approved for that year :notsure:

Put on a "Taco Rated" emblem from Seven Slot United :D It's a thick metal emblem that doesn't bend easily. Couldn't find a good flat spot on the fender or door, so it had to go on the bumper.

I like it. You make more? If so, I'd grab a set or two.

No. On the back burner until I see if the dealership that messed up the creaky clutch TSB steps up. Offered me a service credit. Not letting them touch my Tacoma. If I don't hear from them tomorrow I'll contact Toyota Corporate offices.

I could probably make another, I’d have to source the plastic again (non issue). If interested send me a PM (anyone) and it may be something I could make. I’d have to do some quick math to see what A set costs material wise. Realistically, material is probably less then $20 for a set.
