I haven't ridden in 2 months or more. Still getting my garage gym time in, but nothing keeps the muscles in riding condition except for saddle time.

Alright everyone, Pisgah and DuPont are OPEN and I have officially booked our campsite. Address added to OP. Looks like it will be about $25 per person but that would go down slightly if we have more join. I have Paypal and Venmo. The site is just a field but that is plenty of space and the outhouses are super nice. Get your bikes tuned up!!

    FANTASTIC!
Trying to get bike (as well as legs and lungs) ready to go. Road Rocky River Saturday with my wife and some friends. Plan to rent a bike at Sycamore and ride DuPont this weekend. My wife has informed me that we are shopping for new bikes :spending:

I rode RR yesterday, did you hit the Plunge Jump?

What do you plan to rent from Sycamore? I'll be up there riding as well this weekend.

First time at RR so we did some sections twice and it seems like we missed some sections. Saturday was pretty nasty, though you can tell that they work on it quite a bit and it would drain pretty quickly.

I'd have to check with the Mrs. either Specialized or Yeti I believe.

Oh, yeah it can be confusing if you have not been there before. Steve (the owner) does a great job of keeping the trails up and they drain pretty well. The two wet sections were both still closed yesterday morning.

Tested a Stumpjumper at Dupont yesterday. We had a blast and the trails were great. Supposed to test a Yeti this Friday but not really sure why. Kind of the same as test driving a new Land Cruiser. You know it's going to be sweet and also out of your $$ range.

    Life is short.

Just kidding, buy the bike that fits your budget. I’m not a fan of Specialized but they make good bikes too.

Three weeks out fellas. I don’t know what everyone’s fitness and skill level but that would be helpful for planning purposes. Would you guys like to shuttle some so you can get more downhill in? Or would you rather earn your climbs? Im lucky enough to be able to ride up there all the time so I’ll let y’all set the pace. I want everyone to have fun and get the most out of this trip!

You know my level of skill (or lack there of). Fitness is a slight bit lower than normal. I do love me some pedaling, not as much a 50/50 run kinda guy. But, when in Rome...
