    That sounds like a good time but I don't have a kayak. Did get my skids back on after a several month hiatus (started with the busted rack and pinion) and I am ready to get some wheeling in on the new gears/lockers.

    I'm hoping it won't be a problem. I ordered the 7-pin harness so that I can eventually add trailer brakes if needed. The axle has the backing plate, but not the braking hubs.

    Most will say rebuild what you have, or re mans. I had Napa till I rebuilt my OEM, they were a bit difficult to install and terrible to pull. I think it's the c clip they use, it's too large. If you do go with Napa buy OEM c clips.
