Spread cream cheese on corned beef slices then wrap around a pickle spear. Then slice it up.

Repost Repost Repost. Why? Because this is the internet.

Here some useless trivia. Cilantro is one of those things that depending on your DNA you either like it or you hate it.

    https://www.britannica.com/story/why-does-cilantro-taste-like-soap-to-some-people

Also, coriander is the plant cilantro comes from and if you let it go to seed you get coriander seeds.

Ok, I'll throw this out there. On a (lean Ball Park) hot dog, bun length, I can do mustard, mustard and crystal hot sauce, and mustard, crystal hot sauce and sharp cheese (my go to), but on occasion, I like the works. Chilli, cheese, onions, spicy relish, ketchup and mustard and even kraut. It's nearly impossible to eat and at that point a regular hot dog is lost. You need a spicier sausage type dog, preferably a good Polish.

Growing up there was (and still is) a local gem called Polock Johnny's.
    https://www.polockjohnnys.com/

They would grill (flat top steel, not charcol) their polish sausage after putting little slits on the diagonal on at least 3 sides. The juices coming out would brown them so nicely but it also made them easier to bite. The real treat though was their special "works" sauce. It was a tomato base with vinegar, corn syrup, onion, cucumbers, peppers, and seasonings.

If you've never had one you owe it to yourself to find them and try them. If you can't and want as close a facsimile as possible, get a good polish sausage and some chunky or bold manwich in the can. You will thank me later.

One of my favorite things is to roast coriander seeds in a hot skillet for about a minute, then crush them up in a mortar and pestle and sprinkle on veggies like zucchini or squash with a little olive oil, some fresh cracked black pepper and then grill. Amazing. And I'm not a huge fan of cilantro, but this is amazing.

I learned it from trying to cook for my vegetarian ex-wife, a recipe called for doing that to zucchini and making grilled quesadillas with that and some ricotta and cheddar. Now I do all my grilled zucchini like that, it's always a big hit.

    Sounds delicious. :hungry:

I learned about coriander seeds the easy way. I grew some cilantro and it got away from me and went to seed. I harvested it anyway and had fresh coriander seeds. LOL

You'll also find crushed coriander is used in some beer styles. I've brewed with it a couple of times.
