Saw an IS300 and it made me wanna ask

 

Visited my parents for the first time since Christmas. Their new neighbor has an 03 5 speed Taco and he was out doing all the front end bushings. Had a good long talk with him.

And the A80 Supra that I've spoken of before was still sitting. Hail has put a few more dents in the body and hood. He last had it registered in 2009 so that's a decade of sitting. This was the first time I'd actually seen the owner and not his wife. A friend asked how much he wanted for it. The guy said he'd rather see it rot than sell it. Won't even give a $ amount. I'd assumed the last registration was in 03 since the window sticker is the old Texas style. But those newer plates started in 09. Google maps shows it's been sitting with flat tires since 09.

@BartMaster1234 Crazy how much you can learn about a car today with street view if it's been at the same address long enough.

I'll ask the owner in ~5 years. That's when I expect my father will retire and move closer to a VA hospital. Sometimes rolling up in a trailer with cash in hand helps... or makes things worse lol.

We just had a demonstration in my little corner of suburbia. Local police shot tear gas into the crowd and they disbursed. My son just told me a bunch of people from around the state are gathering in Little Rock go at it again tonight. We got by yesterday evening ok until some people from outside of the area showed up and started shooting off fireworks.

If the meth heads from Pope county start showing up down there tonight, I'm afraid it will turn into a bad scene.

It runs great and sounds nice. Right now with shipping from other countries all messed up things are kinda on hold. I need the Megan midpipe and can't get it and I need some springs for it so I can do the suspension work but Tein is out of stock. Soon though

 

I think that would only be true in Austin and other large cities. If the car is visibly inoperable. Like an expired inspection, no plates, up on cinder blocks, and stuff like that.

 

Thinking since everything is sorta paused on my other projects I need to get moving on the Taco. I may order the front LT this week. Gotta get this bedslide installed as well and test it's viability for my uses, looks promising though.

Morons in my city busted out the windows in the International Civil Rights Museum, which is located in the same building as the Woolworths where the first sit-ins occured in the 60's.

Most of these "people" are just looking for an excuse to commit criminal acts in the name of "justice."

 

State-wide curfew here in AZ starting tonight from 8pm to 5am for the next week. Supposed to end June 8 unless extended.
