Thought I would update you on the snorkel. I got it yesterday opened the box, all looks great, BUT, no template !!! GREAT.. How lucky do I feel cutting into my brand new truck with no template. I can not believe they don't come with a template. Dealer said you have to buy a fender that had this option from the factory to get it Pre cut.. OK. I guess I will try to flip it upside down and make a template to see how it looks.. Still don't think I have the BA..S to do this...DAM....

Piece of cardboard or paper, get is around the main hole and use a pencil to capture the parts that are the screw areas as you could shade them to see the points. Once you have that done then use painters tape to mask off the fender so that you can transfer it to the tape. You can do it, I cut about 10-12" off my rear fenders to install my HC bumper....:sawzall:

The DAI snorkel is super ugly... so if anyone has one on their AG Pro I'd be willing to do them a favor and swap for my non-snorkel fender and air box :)

Didnt you mention that your buddy had the pro with snorkel? You can get some measurements from his truck to help make your template.

Just need the right size/quality hole saw and it'll cut the right size hole out nice and clean in a few seconds.

IMO it's way more nerve wracking trimming a bumper or fender because with those, you're having to make clean lines and if you mess up, it's gonna show. If you somehow mess up with a hole saw (which would be impressive because it's not hard to use), the snorkel will cover it anyway.

I guess, but you can fine tune some stiff paper until you get the correct placement before actually cutting metal. It will make your job much easier and confident when making your cut, as opposed to hoping the hole is perfectly positioned.

You can also check with the dealer you purchased the kit from to see if they can provide you the template.

You do know that there's a anchor point on the roof? Works out well for mounting
    my new scanner antenna.
