    My kid went to Ky. Lake this weekend and it got me thinking....

    I'll never be (financially) rich. Sure, I'll retire someday (if I live long enough) but to be able to do the things I really want to do? Probably not.
    His friends' dad has a nice place at the lake; not crazy nice, but exacly perfect. The lake is pretty much the backyard, boat is right there on the water. Crazy thing is, the $ of property over there is stupid. My kid sent a few pics and the house looks to be of average size (maybe 3 bedroom, 1,800sq ft?) But....and here's the kicker...it's on the water. I posted pics of the view, no house pics due to privacy.
    Here's my idea of a perfect retirement day; wake up at daylight, walk down to boat, fish for 3 hours, eat breakfast, nap, yard work, piddle, fish again from 5pm till dark, sit outside, go to bed, repeat. That, my friends, would be a gteat way to spend the summer. I should have stayed in school!
