After over 30 years of riding nothing but round chainrings, I finally decided to try oval. Not mind blowingly better but noticeably better when you're trying to climb up tech. I'm a convert.

Well, it's not creaking yet :D
My Next SL's start creaking if you look at it funny. But otherwise, it feels just like any other carbon or aluminum crank, until you hit it it on a rock and you realize you don't have to worry about it.

Yes, it's just an anodized finish so once it rubs off, it's gone. It's easy to re-anodize ti at home given some 9 volt batteries.

Why anodize ti? It's already extremely corrosion resistant. Some ultra fine scotch brite for brushed or aluminum polish for glossy will restore the uniform look, just don't get any chlorine or chlorinated stuff on titanium... Or you could just go ride it.

I counted 10 Tacoma’s at the trail head with 4 of them shuttling up the fire road. I’ll be doing that next time around. That climb got me. This was at Bass lake ca, trail 007.

I think e-bikes are an awesome way for handicapped and elderly riders to still enjoy trails built for motorized vehicles. They're also great for commuting and hauling groceries.

I guess I'm just woke like that.

    not enough.
I'd agree with you. I have a really cheap e-bike for commuting and for quick grocery runs to the store literally a mile away. I wouldn't dare take it on the trails because it's too high powered, it's too heavy, and I definitely prefer my actual mountain bike for riding. e-bike mtb's make sense for elderly or medical conditions...but if you're a healthy young person and I see you, best know that I am 1000% judging you and hating on you. Saw a group of kids with 4 boys on really nice e-bikes and their 4 dates?girlfriends?female friends? on old beaters...

Also, I feel like since all this covid shits, more and more people are out on e-bikes which enables people who normally wouldn't be out to go out...and they don't understand trail etiquette. I've seen more trail etiquette issues with e-bikers than I have with non e-bikers. :/

Nice, we were just there this weekend. Not for biking but we’ll be there soon for some of that. We did some wheeling off 222
