I know I’m talking to myself but it helps me think through it. I’m leaning toward the group 35’s. Under $600 (with one core refund) for both from batteries plus. Free 60 month replacement. I like the idea of being able to walk in a store if there’s an issue.

I plan on getting the REDARC version, leave my starter battery alone, and get a nice secondary to power my fridge full time... and have the solar backup.

I should have thought about that before I killed my battery

Well I am now victim of the 2019 fuel pump recall. Truck just died driving down speedway. they put me in some SR5 that sits lower then my ascent . They also have no fix and told me it could be 6 months before I get my truck back. All this and I have my bumper and winch on order Sad days ☹️

Yeah not a fan of this situation.

Six months was worst case scenario. They have no clue when it will be done. Just don’t understand what is taking so long to come up with the solution for this.

Damn that sucks dude. I didn’t know there were fuel pump issues. What bumper and winch did you get? Btw still don’t have a shipping notification from RCI

I decided against a duel battery for now and went with the x2 27f from Batteries Plus. 92 amp hours and 60 month warranty. The group 35’s are only 60 amp hours so I get more amp hours but lose the redundancy. But I was happy with the lithium jumper when my lead acid battery took a dump.

Yeah most 18 and 19 Lexus and Toyota truck and SUVs have the recall. It is with the low pressure fuel pump. Went with the @victory4x4 blitz bumper and smittybilt winch. Oh well will take some time for the bumper anyways. Worst part is I just had my UCAs installed when it died so didn’t even get a chance to break them in.

I have a 2018 but its got 40,000 miles and lately its been acting weird. Like part throttle minor bucking and slight hesitation. Im worried its the fuel pump but it seems odd that it would have lasted so long. They seem to die right away when they are a bad one. Its gotten worse with the heat lately, like when you feel the AC compressor kick on it sucks the life out of the engine more than normal. Almost feels like my Blazer when it vapor locks just slightly more subtle.

If it were white you'd have my interest... :anonymous::frusty:

If I was flush with cash I'd say eff it and get a full wrap on the truck so it wouldn't matter but... I'm not.

As I understand, the Coke Ovens have been closed for a number of years. The landowner was tired of the litter and vandalizing of the area and locked all the gates. If they have been reopened in the last year, I've not heard.

Wife just got to work in Flagstaff, looks like she has a coolant leak. Can't tell from the pics where it is coming from. She is going to investigate a little bit more. Anyone in Flagstaff able to go look at it or have a shop recommendation? I hate to have a shop do something that I can do in my driveway, but not having her drive home like that.

I could, but not until later this afternoon. If she can’t wait, I like the guys at Anderson General Tire (at least for alignments). I know they do other general maintenance work there as well, just haven’t used them for that

If you could that would be awesome. She is working and in meetings until 4 or 5 today, so this afternoon would be fine. She planned to return to phoenix Wednesday evening. I just need to get it fixed before then.
