Thought about trying Amsoil ATF but at $20~ a quart it's more than 3x the Mercon LV that Ford specs. I know that the Amsoil is supposed to be Mercon LV compatible buuuuuuut why not stick with the MFG recommendation on a $6000 transmission

The Honda ones are great. Only maintenance I've ever needed to do was adjust valve lash, and that's even fast and easy.
I gotta used Honda/Northstar one off Craigslist with 100 ft of hose a couple/few years ago for 700 bucks. Almost everything is serviceable and rebuildable on it. That was the most important factor for me when hunting one down. After owning it for a few years I'd say that'd still be my priority if I had to hunt another pressure washer down.

Did it have a honda pump as well?

I get the feeling I will be disappointed with any of the electric washers. I'll be using it for washing the trucks, trailer, and some sidewalk/driveway cleaning.

Welp, it sounds like axle roommate is past "trying to make it up to me" after doing dishes, cleaning his bathroom, cleaning up the TV room, throwing away a bunch of trash, etc. He mentioned something about applying for places to rent

Can you remind me what he did again? I don’t quite remember the axle story.

sure, I'll even include the diagrams from last time.

I had an axle parallel to the driveway and his car. He backed over it. more recent theory is that his car was stuck in the snow and instead of digging it out he just goosed it til it slid over and hooked the axle; I had to shovel up a shit ton of gravel that had been flung into the street.

Either way, he drug it out into the street, and then started to drive away with it under his car and made it about 50 feet before one of my retired neighbors heard it scraping and came out and stopped him. Apparently it was loud enough to be heard inside from his basement. Roommate he was going to just ignore it and keep driving. He swears he couldn't see/hear/feel it under his car. Anyways, it cracked the transmission pan and despite noticing the leak he kept driving the car til the auto burned up.

The details of all of this have come out over the course of the last 6 months from various neighbors who have told me. Axle roommate played the victim and told everyone I had set him up and put the axle directly behind his car. Again, admitting no fault of his because he pretended not to notice and ignored major signs

    driveway 1.jpg

Now, there's more to it. We agreed he would get rid of this dead car by Jan 31, especially after his parents helped him buy a new one. That date comes and goes and I should have just had the city tow it then, but we agreed to another date which came and went as well. Whatever.

Within a month of owning his new car he backs into someone, rear ends someone, and gets a red light ticket while admittedly texting and driving. There's a street in the neighborhood that's wide enough to be three lanes in either direction but just has one stripe down the middle. There's a guy who owns a massive taco truck and parks it on the street when he's not working. Axle roommate hits it going about 40 mph and totals his new car. Again, not to take any responsibility, he says that he has been in an accident, making sure to exclude any detail that would imply he was the one responsible for hitting something so easily avoided on a wide road such as speeding despite the snow (and probably looking at his phone which he denies). (Bonus details: he let it slip that he has a court date as a result of this so I am wondering if there are additional charges that he hasn't told us about).

He begs me for a ride to the insurance lot so he can get "important stuff" out of his car but refuses to tell me what it is. I'm not really down to drive the 1.5 hour round trip especially when I was already driving 2.5-3 hours on my commute days so I tell him no. He asks when I can and I tell him that I am not going to do it that day or any other day. He keeps telling me I'm not giving him "any options" and that I'm not being fair to him. I tell him to get a Lyft/Uber/taxi/Uhaul truck/HomeDepot truck etc and he keeps saying no. In fact, it's been 3+ months and the insurance claim is still open because he refuses to let them total the car (still making payments) until he gets the HU. The insurance has towed it to another lot 1.5 hours away. Again, he keeps telling the insurance they're not being fair since they didn't tow the car to my house before taking it to the insurance lot. He talked someone else into pickup up the "important items" which consisted of a folding chair and some clothes.

On top of all of this, he will do shit like clog the toilet with wet wipes and swear up and down that he did not use them. Then come back and admit that he had been flushing them, etc. which we have discussed SEVERAL times. Again, he says that he will not but it keeps fucking happening.

I paid him to take care of the dogs one weekend I was gone and he ignored feeding/watering/letting out to the point that one of them peed in his bed  He'll do shit like let the dogs out (even late at night) and then forget to let them in despite rain/cold/heat. Then they'll be upset and clingy and he'll tell me it's the dogs fault and I need to train them better despite the fact that every other dog sitter I've had never had issues and adored them.

He doesn't help with divided common courtesy chores like dishes/cleaning/snow shoveling, doesn't pay rent on time, blah blah blah. He said all of this is my fault because I didn't give him a chores schedule. I said no, I'm not your fucking dad and it's not on me to check up on you and hound you every day. After I ask you to do something more than a couple times it's not on me, especially for things that were divided up and agreed upon so there's no doubt who is to do what.

That's just the majority of it, I don't have the energy to pull in more details and the other events. :bananadead:

I commend you on your patience with this moron, I probably would have hired a hitman to take him out by now.

Although it sounds like he may do that to himself before too long
