What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

@kingjj Congrats on your first truck.

This will be my first ever truck purchase. I drove a Hilux 4x4 5MT last year, out of country, and wanted something similar back home.
I have emailed a few dealers, and received some vague replies. I was hoping to get more detailed emails, due to the current situation, but i guess i have to go down to dealership to talk it out.

Most trucks i see are with TRD off-road package, that is interior specific add-ons, that i dont want.

 

@anpk05 yea man right now I Personally don’t think they are having a really tough time moving Tacoma’s at 0% interest.

you may have to balance on taking on some of those interior features to grab the 0% or wait it out and see what new deals and trims/packages come out for you.

If you get the tech package it’s going to cover some pretty specific options as well as color matched bumpers I think. Along w all the senors and stuff

premium your looking at moonroof, leather heated seats, upgraded jbl stereo usually, dual climate control, and I think auto start. (Trucks getting mods done so I don’t have it here to confirm)

what Specifically do you Need and what do you Not want.
The dealers right now at 0% I don’t feel are going to be able to mix match any packages. You’d have to prob build your own which I know nothing about.

for me personally it’s trim and color and I went from there. I wanted an offroad cement in color, then fig the rest out

 

The problem is that Toyota does not do custom orders so basically the dealer has to look at what is in the queue to be produced and then pick that truck out of the queue and trade for it from another dealer who it has already been allocated to. So the dealer should be able to “order” it for you but it just may take a little while to get there. That actually doesn’t sound like too rare of a combination. The truck I ordered was super rare so it took almost 2 months. Granted part of that was because of the factory shut down. Just tell them you want to order one and don’t mind waiting.

 

The vagueness you’re experiencing is probably a computer automated response system. Really stupid and annoying. Make some phone calls or stop in to a couple dealers. good luck. The California market is really tough. If you don’t mind hopping on a flight then probably worth going somewhere else. Probably save you a few grand.

 

I was so close to buying that truck in MD. Congrats on the new truck!

So I’ve been told the combo

I got the same quote. $2995 "market adjustment". I laughed and politely told them to kick rocks.

 

Wow, what were all the “many accessories” and everything? I’m pretty sure 17% off without a rebate is the biggest percentage off anyone has gotten on this entire thread. Very possible that on the last day of the month though they needed one more sale to hit a sales goal so they were willing to lose money on a truck. They definitely lost money on that sale in a vacuum.

What combo do you want? I ordered mine which is a super rare combo. Taking about 2 months. Delivery June 25. Partially due to factory shut down though

Not sure. That’s what they said. I don’t know if it’s a definite date though
