Gas Door from 2001 to 1997 fit?

    Yes, I have done the swap. You will need the fuel door, latch and pin to make it work.
    The fuel door comes in a black primer you will need to paint it to match.

    Okay here are the parts I used
    fuel door 77305-04040
    Lid Pin 77367-35010
    Fuel Door Spring 77366-35030
    1 Screw 90154-60039
    I had to modify the plastic dust shroud that fit around the fuel inlet to accept the fuel door lid pin.
    First I drilled out the rivets holding the old Pin that the lock cylinder attached to. Next I carefully lined up where the Lid pin would mount in the plastic dust shroud and proceeded to drill a hole for the Lid Pin.
    In the first picture you can see where I mounted the Lid Pin and one of the old holes from the original rivet that I drilled out. The second picture shows the back side of the fuel door where the fuel door spring is mounted.
    That should be everything you need.

    Yes it will work. It fit fine on my 97
