over the phone interviews sound kinda weird

 

I gave him an eviction notice on Friday. I definitely enabled it by letting this go on for so long (partly because I didn't feel like I had the energy to, partly because I was away so long with the X) but no more. Actually impressed myself and the other roommate with how collected I was able to remain during that shitty conversation despite him getting pretty animated about it

@Kwikvette was on point with the idea of having a written notice prepared; When I told him I wanted him to move out he said "no, you haven't given me a chance to prove my worth to this household yet" so I handed him the formal notice. That convo sucked but I told him he's had so many chances with every issue listed above because they have always been brought to his attention, he always says he will correct the issue, then never does.

 

I'm sure word of me being a piece of shit landlord will find its way back to me eventually given our large circle of shared acquaintances. I don't give a fuck. He has yet to tweet about this obvious mistreatment on my part but I'm sure it's coming

 

He's in for a reality check when he finds out the rate I charge for the 12x16 room and access to large TV room, garage, high speed internet, utilities, parking, etc won't get him shit but a room in a shared apartment downtown

 

In theory, the ER "SHOULD" be dead tn with said imposed 8pm curfew, no? I even saw frys closes at 8 pm cause of it

who is going to take care of all the people who get beat up for staying out past 8?

he was pretty upset and in denial before starting to raise his voice and turn it around on me. He kept repeating that I wasn't giving him a chance. I kept repeating that he has had many chances and that this isn't just an impulse decision. Had to tell him I was done talking about it after rehashing some of the point posted above again

 

So when is he out of there?

 

I was extra nice and gave him til July 1 since 30 days landed in the middle of a trip I have planned.

 

I'm sure I'll have to take the day off work to throw all his shit on the lawn when that day comes

 

You want to be extra petty? You can call the Sheriff to facilitate. That’s what the next door landlord did on eviction day.

 

Fuck me it looks like the passenger side seal got fucked when I put in the new axle, been dripping gear oil since the install a couple days ago.

Guess I should have put a new seal in when I did it, anyone know the part number for the passenger side front axle seal?
