Remind me, is that the side with the axle tube or the differential side?

 

Actually to legally throw his stuff on the lawn it's my understanding that it has to be under LE supervision, which is why I did the written notice with witness

I have the part number but it’s for a manual hub axle tube. If anyone can confirm they’re the same I’ll get it for you.

 

Been reading up some posts about it and I guess it's common on that side if you don't really push the axle in 100% as far as it goes, so I think I'll take it apart first and try knocking it in a little further. That side has only had the CV replaced a couple times so I think the seal is OK its probably just not in all the way.

Still want to get a new seal to have on hand just in case...I'll do some digging and see if they're the same thx

 

If youre gonna pull the CV out and re seat it just do the seal

 

2" pvc pipe to seat the new seal yeah?

 

I believe that is what I used for a long time
