Interesting takes on the tires everyone. The duratrac is another one I've looked at since I can get it in a C load range. I haven't looked at the AT3 yet, but I'll have to add it to my list of things to overanalyze.

 

Cool! The XLT's only come in E-load but the regular AT3 M&S does come in a C and D I believe.

KO2's are a street tire for occasional off road, and over priced as well. Falkens, coopers, and Goodyear all make a great AT tire. Consider where your nodding will take you. You don't want to spend $1k on tires only to get a lift later that makes those new tires look like they belong on a Honda Ridgeline.

I get this 100%, it's a matter of when not if I'm going to lift it at least a little. This is the same process I went through on my Jeep and my F150.

But if that isn't going to be for 6 months - 1 year I'm cool blowing some cash (I'm of course assuming I can flip some lightly used KO2s when I upgrade). With the work from home world my company is in I'm going to be disappearing to the woods of northern Michigan for a couple of months and the Kuhmo Crugens that are currently on the truck have me second guessing some of the areas I frequent up there.

 

I normally wouldn't say this but slap a cheap spacer lift on and get the tire you want.

Then save up and research the actual lift you would like to stay on your truck.

 

Hard to argue with your logic, I'm still very much in the research phase. Seems like a 33 inch is pretty easily doable, but a 35 will require a largeish lift plus cutting.

 

I don't recommend bigger than 33s on a daily.

I've gotten over & through some pretty gnarly stuff with my streetish ATs. I'd think if you're escaping to someplace wet, maybe some 33 MT's or some of those AT/MT hybrids like Dick Cepek Trail Country, wouldn't push past 33s at this point

 

Think that is where I am headed next month...like the Ridge Grapplers.
