New Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX flush mount install

I can't live without my spotify. I love carplay because I get in the car, it connects automatically while the phone stays in my pocket, and the music starts from where it left off.

Sorry to be a pest, if you think of it over the coming days, would you mind measuring the viewable lcd part of the screen (not the black border)? Very few people have this and with stores closed i cant go in and inspect myself

OP - What did you do with the wired Pioneer mic? Or does it have a built in mic?

 

I removed the factory mic and mounted the pioneer mic in it's place and ran the wire down the driver side.

 

How well do you think it works compared to stock?

Last question, I think, ha. Which plug is the satellite antenna and which is the gps? I've got one black and one white but the blue side of the antenna adapters are the same.

I'm guessing black is the satellite and white is the gps?

Why not use the adapter and use the factory mic?

 

What adapter? The factory mic is amplified and I wasn't aware there was a way to use it.

 

Maybe I’m wrong. I thought the Maestro came with an adapter for the factory mic. I swear I saw it somewhere. I just got mine today and haven’t really had a chance to fool with it.

 

And how did you hook up the 2nd camera? I've got something wonky going on where I turn on the truck, and the rear camera shows up right away. But the front camera is always black.

 

F - it! I'm just not having any luck with stereo's and the stock one does everything its supposed to. Guess I'll send all this bs back. Its not a perfect fit with the bezel either. Maybe a 1/16 of an inch gap all the way around. Barely noticeable. But I have acute OCD, ha. Couldn't get my front camera to work no matter what I tried. The programming of the Maestro took but didn't respond the way I expected. Press and hold to get to the cams but that was wonky. Worst part, neither one of my ipods worked on it either. I have over 7000 songs. I can't stand XM anymore and even Spotify started getting repetitive. So my ipod is my go to but I'm not buying another one because they are too old? Work just fine with the OEM deck.

Anyone want to buy the whole kit? haha, instead of me sending it back to Crutchfield?

Ya I'm good. Just too much time in a hot garage trying to figure this out.

 

Sorry. I don't use an iPod or a front cam. Mine is working flawlessly.

 

Can you take a picture of it in the premium bezel?

 

I already took it back out and boxed it all back up. It looks just like yours but with a smaller gap.

 

It's ok. I'll have another premium bezel tomorrow and will take some pics for the thread.

 

Again can you post exactly the only things required? Crutchfield is saying you need a few extra things as "up sales" but im trying to find someone whos already got it working to say differently on whats needed. Links to each part to dummy it down please
