vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

I already have the VFtuner (waiting for System ID), cable as well and oddly decided to buy the tuner pack today. Was waiting for more feedback on 2.0... Maybe today is the day...

 

My order was #6202 beginning of May. Still no master key for vfTuner. Received reg file for p5f 4/24. Not sure if I was missed or if your back logged for vfTuner master keys? Thanks

 

Is the server supposed to still be down? I've been getting a "connection timeout exceeded 10s" trying to register the software.

 

I’m still waiting too we just gotta be patient I suppose haha I’m ready to start playing though!

 

Does the VFtune allow for speedo correction?

 

No,a separate UCU controls that portion.

vF Tuner TUNE pack / files will release today for Manual Transmissions
if you have an open / pending ticket waiting on that, no need to send us anything.

So we buy the tunepack if we already have vftuner and the tactrix, and then how long for the tunefiles to be sent to us? Does this require the Flash Manager? I'm unfamiliar with any of this stuff sorry, I'm a new customer.

I would assume that if we sent in our dongles or purchased the tune pack that no further action is required on our part,@OVTune,please confirm

 

Tune packs are being sent right now.

IMPORTANT (We will have full tutorial up asap)
if you edit a 2.0 tune file, and want to make changes to your THROTTLE RESPONSE,
These files have our STMP (single torque map patch) on it.

SO, ALL GEARS are controlled by this map only. Changing other tables won't do anything.

 

If we are running 04B13 on the MT's, can we update to 04B14 and expect to get the tune files?

Some of us are holding off on upgrading until we know which ECUID we want/need to unlock

 

Not yet, 04B14 is not supported in vF quite yet. Give me until friday

Between 04B13 and 04B14, is there a HUGE reason to update? I'm just curious on what the changes could be. I understand you've said before that Toyota could be doing deeper code changes
