Is there any particular car/body that you want to build? I'm lacking 1 chassis so I can get an MK2 body and finish off the collection. No MK1 body is available currently.

Honestly, I’m a muscle car fan and I like old trucks, so I’d probably end up putting a C10 body on whatever chassis I pick.

I made a tubing bender today out of stuff I had laying around. Now I can move forward on my cage and sliders for the tiny truck.

Are you planning to weld or solder/braise them together?

Braise. I have a MIG welder, it’s not ideal for tiny welds. IMO

Seeking feedback from you guys who’ve been doing this longer than me... Took the Bomber out today and played around for a while, along with mine and my son’s crawlers. I let the boy drive the Bomber around for a little bit, all was fine until he applied reverse and it pegged full throttle forward for a few seconds. It was facing a tree(reason for the reverse) and when throttle was applied it made a GraveDigger style backflip move off the trunk. It was pretty awesome, but very unexpected. I cycled the power and drove it myself for a while. It seems to go about 5 minutes at a time before the random outburst. After we got home, I checked all the programming and it seems fine. Drove it again, same deal. Also, after it goes full gonzo for a few seconds, it then goes unresponsive until I cycle power on the esc. Then it’s fine for another 5 minutes or so... Thoughts?

That’s where I was leaning too since it resets after a power cycle. Not other issues at all. I’ll give it a try once I feel like tearing down two rigs...

In other news, got the cage done and enjoyed the rocks out at Mineral Wells State Park.

The wide ones are 5 lug and have the bolts going through the front and screwing to the hub, the 6 lug ones go through the back, through the hub then a nut on the front side
