Quick question, do all 1st gen Tacomas with the access door come in the 6 foot bed? Are there any that come in the 5 ft bed?

As far as I know, all 1st gen access cabs have a 6 foot bed. It was the double cab that came with the 5ft bed.

A, 1st gens never had an access cab. There's only 2 doors. That makes it just an extra cab.
B, if you want to put a 5ft bed behind an extra cab body, buy the bed and move everything to fit. If you don't have the skills, it will be very expensive.
C, it looks goofy AF but that's just my opinion. I believe the guys from sky off road design (SORD) Did one like 10 or 12 years ago.

As mentioned, it only comes in a 6’ bed. You can do some fab work to make it a 5’ bed if you really wanted. I did the work, and I look goofy and disproportionate and I love it. Second gen but you get the idea

That's a bob job. I think he is thinking of actually shorting the wheelbase

Probably, though he never actually specified. Just mentioned 5’ bed access cab.
