Love the P220 single stack .45. And when they offered it in Legion it graced my collection.

870 loaded with buck/slug alternating, or GP100 if you encounter my wife. My handgun is to fight my way to a long gun...

Seems like a quick draw would be tricky...

Also, these gun suggestions are going to vary as evident so far. Your best best is to use what you are most comfortable and most accurate with. Lots of answers, but use what YOU are most proficient with. Shot placement is key. Don't get caught up in what everybody thinks is wrong or right. Any caliber handgun, rifle or shotgun will kill with a well-placed shot.

S&W 6906 on the headboard, and a Mossberg Shockwave mounted to the bed. There's a little shelf that pull out on the night stand. I put my Sig P365 on it when I go to bed. It stays on my side unless I'm in the bed or shower.

I really need to buy a new bed, had this one since the early 80's. Replaced the waterbed mattress with a regular one years ago.

I know. I've thought about looking for a waterbed mattress to put back in it. Had to swap to a regular when my ex's back got too bad for the water.

My best advice is not to listen to any gun advice here. Run Forest, run!

Pistol with Hollow Points. Shotguns work well, but I don't want to have to replace half my hallway due to blood soaking into everything.

Depends on the flavor. AR-15. My Benelli nova pump or my Remington 760 carbine 30-06(pump action rifle). Handguns maybe, like my Springfield xd. But nothing’s better than the sound of a pump rifle / shotty loading up a round.
