It’s no Supra but it’s pretty sweet. This is my new home when I’m not using the habitat (Tacoma or super tenere)

Finally got around to having Toyota inspect my frame today. Everything’s good but they are like 6-8 weeks out from being able to put the coating on. :bananadead:

the coating is crap. Only upside is it gives you an extra 3 years or something in case the frame still rots

That's the only reason I care about it given that they say my frame is fine. Says in the letter that if you don't do it they won't cover the frame in the future.

I just got my notice this spring. From what I've heard around the TW rumor mill they recently changed the coating to something different than what they were using.

Interesting. Hopefully it's better than what's on my frame

My garage has a headache bar along the center, aka a duct. It's at just a height that it just clips the top of my head being 6'4".
    Fun times....
It will probably fit, but it'll be tight. The problem is the shark fin is higher than the duct. but the truck may be overall too high now that I went to 33s.

I’d rather just buy a new truck than deal with a frame swap. When it was done on my 2005, the brake lines leaked afterward and the brakes went out completely..

    I like my truck together

if I had the the time and money I'd buy a new frame, get it blasted, box the rear and put gusset kits and frame brace kits on it and then put a coating on it that'll actually prevent rust and then swap it
