Alabama thread!

So I ordered wheels and tires from a company online almost 6 weeks ago and no tracking sent - ever. Not going to even give them benefit of naming them - they deserve zero traffic.

However I got my refund today yay!

Back to shopping...makes me question what I get hah.

So guys whats your opinion on my purchase

I certainly like the price of the MK6s, but I've seen a few with...don't wanna be copycat to the local guys ha!

I'm a cheap/broke bastard, so I went with T4R takeoffs

 

Any grease should be good there, it shouldn't have any heat so all you really doing is greasing it to make it easier to remove. The seal between the CV and hub could use a little too.

 

I like them, but I thought you were still going with 18s? Not sure if Discount Tire will price match b/c they are already a discount place.

 

I really liked the raceline clutch and they're 17 or 20s. Never going 20s on Tacoma! Ah well ill figure it out in the morning. My old wheels/tires have been sold for awhile - buyer is patient since not for his daily.

 

Any grease will work. My 01 fsm specs mp grease.

Also, For stuff like this I have a few
Astro Mini Grease Guns filledwith different greases, white lithium, mp, ant seize, dielectric, Molly hp and a few others. Makes for much more controlled application and less mess.

Yep. And it's by choice. And it's next to impossible for me to get anything done on the computer at work cause I have too much fun toys to play with, and there's always something that needs to be fixed it machined or welded or whatever it is other than a computer.

 

I dang sure wouldn't get any "work" done if I had welding toys to play with......and knew how to use them
