It'll get cracked soon. Is the C119>A119?

Well you have C919 - From what I can tell it's released in January (hence the 1 then the year so A119) then B519 would be May of 2019 then C919 would be September 2019)

and then that changes to 20 so this year's will be A120 B520 and C920 ... and if I am wrong about this someone please correct me..

And to answer the question.. I never got the A119 but the B519 was good and the C919.. well it's the best IMO. I haven't had any 20s yet either.

    W.T.F. are y'all drinking?

    00100lrPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200601202839804_COVER.jpg

Ok. This has always been on my radar but I'm finally able to check this one off. @DC 17_3 , the C919 will be next:thumbsup:

Truth be told... I grabbed the wrong bottle and didn't notice till I took pic :anonymous::anonymous::bananadead::rofl::drunk:

Still! The show must go on.

Very surprisingly little burn on the nose for the proof. Not absent, just subdued. This is the second hottest bottle I now own just behind C919.

Some sweetness on the nose. Not straight sugar, but mellower.

Fairly viscous. That mellow sweetness continues. Almost like vanilla pudding. But you're eating it with an oak spoon. That taste is blended in.

    Then the Burney :bananadead::rofl:

    Brb... Need a refill...

    00100lrPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200601205943215_COVER.jpg

    The Dude abides.

Where were we? Oh yeah. Burney.

This second pour is surprisingly less! I know I'm more "acclimated" but it's a slower build. You can still feel the Burney, but not quite breath it.

It's hard to put this into words

Anyway decent finish to it. One of the more lingering whiskies I can remember.

Hang on... Need a third opinion...

    image.jpg

Ok. The Burney is back. Still not as prominent as the first pour, but a stark reminder I have to be to work tomorrow still

I really want to compare this to some of my top choices, but not tonight. I do have sick days to burn though... :drevil:

Glad that I finally got to try some of this. The small batch was underwhelming to me so I lowered my hope on the barrel proof. Probably helped so I didn't have the highest expectations. But, I still may have been impressed. Very solid pour.

Cheers y'all and time for a nap
