Right... I'd start from the left and work your way to the right... doing one corner at a time.

HUGE Thanks! I was able to get the cover over it using the trim tool and the tip you gave me. Now the part that im worried about is the bottom part that looks like this:

    Bottom Cover.jpg

How far can I slide the bottom of the cover over that plastic without ripping the stitching? I accidently ripped the stitching on the one from the seat next to this one (the drivers side back seat) because I tried to force it down to where the velcro was on the bottom side of the cover and the stitching came off of the bottom.

This is what the back side of the cover looks like so far:

    Back Clip Cover.jpg

As you can see its not quite there yet.

Glad it worked out. Your other issue looks like you may need to just slowly, carefully... massage it down until it lines up. Make sure the top of the cover is aligned to the top of the seat (i.e. creases (of the cover) line up with the edges (of the seat)), but not too much or we may get another rip. You should have a feel to where it won't stretched any more to the point where it will rip. Massage it... work it down.

hi guys. I have a 2008 trd sport Double cab that came with liquicell gray leather when I purchased new. My driver's side is becoming worn and considering replacing that part and possibly the passenger if needed to match. I'm wondering has anyone applied a replacement cover over the existing leather? is that the normal process ? any deals going on? I was talking with Joe previously and have been unable to reach him via text. thanks !

I also went to the clazzio website and requested some samples of the gray interior so that I can see which shade mine matches best. anyone happen to know ? pics below

I was leaning toward black w/dark gray insert, but not sure I want to wait the 8 to 12 weeks. They have black w/light gray in stock. Does anyone have any pics of black with light gray insert?

Hey everyone! Lots of good info in regards to Cazzio’s. Are these opinions on the leather or synthetic leather type? Any opinions or advice on the synthetic type would be appreciated. Thanks

Anyone with the triple black PVC that can snap a few pics? I'm wanting to pick up a set and think I'm going with the leather as there are so many pictures in this thread that look amazing, sadly there are none/few of the PVC material (that I could find browsing the last 30 pages or so). As a soon to be dad, I could use the extra cash by getting by with pcv, but if I'm going to do it i want it to look nice still. Any help is mucho appreciatedo.

    Thanks!

Well I got all my covers on today (finally) I just have one question for owners, is this seat supposed to click with the lock on the back when you put it back up?

    Headrests Covers.jpg

Mine goes up but it doesnt lock on the tab on the back, if you look at this picture the little string to pull the seat forward is red at the bottom (maybe that has something to do with it?) anyone know if this is normal or how can I fix it?

I was checking the Clazzio website for some blk/blk leather covers but on the QTY section it shows zero does anyone know if that mean they're out of stock so my order can take weeks?

I was reading some other threads where people were having the same issue: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rear-seat-latch.520020/ and they said that they took it to the dealership who then slammed the seat a few times to get the lock to work agian, I havent tried it yet (I just tried pushing it down and pulling the tab up to see if it did anything because I didnt want to break anything by slamming it) but im going to try it to slam it a few times tomorrow. If that doesnt work then I guess ill have to get the dealership to take a look at it.

Hopefully I can fix it myself, id hate for the dealership to have to disassemble the seat cover after I already went through the trouble of putting it on the seat.

My front seats turned out pretty good, I like how snug the back turned out after putting the little S hooks on the bottom part, I did have two S hooks left that I thought were extra but after thinking about it now I realized that I didnt put any S hooks on the little rubber band/bungie thing that they have us tuck under the seat belt, I just put it down there without any S hook because the installation instructions didnt say anything else about it besides tucking it under the seat belt. Im not sure if I want to remove the S hooks from the back and try to install the missing ones after I already finished the install though lol, I guess later today ill try to see how difficult it would be to reach for the little bungie/rubber band by the seat belt from the bottom of the seat. Since my Tacoma had the power drivers seat I also had some cables that were in the way of the straps from the backrest of the power drivers seat so I had to cut some of the leather on the bottom to get the power drivers seat cables out of the way and be able to get the straps all the way to where the velcro was, it wouldnt have fit if I didnt do cutting because the cables were in the way but on the Clazzio installation videos they mentioned in one of their videos that cutting was normal for this part of the installation on some vehicles to be able to fit the cables.

Here are some pictures that I took of the final install, I took out one of the back seats because I thought it would be easier to install it on my couch but it turns out that the stitching ripped on the seat cover when I tried to install it on my couch so I still gotta put that seat back on the truck. In the pictures the front passengers side headrests cover is also missing because it got stretch marks while I was trying to put it on the headrests and im currently talking to Clazzio to see if they can exchange it as part of the extended warranty that I purchased along with fixing the stitching on the cover that the stitching came undone.

Edit: Nevermind I just looked at the instructions agian and they do mention to put an S hook on the little bungie that goes under the seat belt, I totally missed that, I guess now I know what those two extra S hooks that I had were for

    Update

Well I was looking under the seats for the little black rubber bungee that came on the bottom of the two front seat covers, I found the one for the drivers seat and I was able to put the S-hook on it without having to undo the S-hooks from the back of the cover (the bungee for the drivers seat was on the seatbelt side) of the bottom of the drivers seat next to the center console. The only one that I couldnt find was the little bungee for the passengers front seat... anyone know which part of the cover the bungee was on for the front passengers seat? maybe I can get it out of where it comes out from the cover but I cant remember if it was on the seat belt side next to the center console or the door side on the passengers side or where it comes out of, I tried feeling around the cover for it but I couldnt find the bungee for the front passengers seat.

Thank you :) Clazzio said that they were going to call me today after they speak to the warranty department to see what they could do to fix the cover where the stitching came undone and to fix the headrests that got stretch marks while I was installing it, hopefully they call me soon so I can have all the covers installed but so far I like how its turning out.

Damn really sorry to hear that :( do you use a sunshade on your truck? it might help protect the covers a little better from uv and sun damage.
