I find this to be the most ridiculous thing that I have come across in a long time. How is it, I call Toyota and go back and forth with them about this part and low and behold there is no part number ever to be found within there system for this sensor. I told her on the phone to go to Alibaba and she could buy 10000 of them that would fit the year and engine that I have. Sorry to say, but this was a ploy for you to buy a totally new throttle body with the new sensor at a nice price of 950.00 dealer cost. I know they are out there, but it has been frustrating busting my ass just to find this part. Yoda has been great up until this issue.

I get the TPS off every one I can find.

The ones that Alibaba sells will not work, its a scam.

 

Ordered the Throttle Position Sensor from PartsGeek.com got it next day and it is the 89452-35030 part # needed for the 2003, 2004 Tacoma. Installed it and it works great. So now there is a way to get the sensor without having to buy the entire throttle body.
